Family owned, local kitchen retailer, The Solid Wood Cabinet Company, has joined forces with Habitat for Humanity to help local families save money and do some good. Solid Wood Cabinets has donated $100,000 worth of vanity cabinets to the local Langhorne ReStore location. The cabinets will support the Langhorne Restore when they launch the grand reopening of their remodeled 30,000 square foot space at 1337 East Lincoln Highway, Levittown in the coming months. ReStore is the gently used home improvement outlet run by Habitat for Humanity to raise contributions for their charity work.
The Solid Wood Cabinet Company supplies over 4,000 new kitchens a year to local families and have also partnered with Habitat for Humanity ReStore to allow their customers to donate their old cabinets to a wonderful non-profit and potentially get a tax write off. As a double benefit upcycling the old cabinets helps the environment by keeping them out of a landfill.
